Overview

Break it and make it the most exciting glass art activity, where six inches of clear glass will be your canvas, colorful broken glass pieces will be your paint, and your fingers will be your brush. You will start breaking small pieces of multicolored glass using safe tools, creating a contemporary design, and turning it into a beautiful shape. Ultimately, you can select a flat or one of the mold shapes. We offer four different mold shapes: simple bowl, curve shape, candlelight holder, and ice cream bowl. We offer various colors and help you with many design ideas that make this session more enjoyable.

Break it and Make it - fusing class is open to all. An ideal journey for the beginner and for those who have taken beginning classes in the past and would like refresher lessons. With step-by-step instructions, you will learn how to break glass, and glass art and make a six-inch beautiful contemporary fused glass. What to expect in this class? 1) Class begins with an introduction. 2) Each participant will get a six-inch square clear glass, glass, cutting tools, and supplies. 3) Access to dozens of colorful color transparent and opaque glasses. 3) Step-by-step demonstration and guide you through a variety of techniques. 4) Participants will break the glass into small pieces and design it on flat clear glass. 5) Studio will fire your flat tile shape glass creation and have it ready to pick up or ship in a few weeks.
